Reading with your child is a wonderful way to develop their literacy skills but I didn鈥檛 know as a parent that I was doing it wrong until I read this method of paired reading.

Turns out I was trying too hard and jumping in too early to help my child, which didn鈥檛 help him learn how to decode as much as it helped him learn if I wait long enough, adults will read for me!
