At 91, Rahul’s focus is primarily on market-based approaches to increase access to safe and hygienic sanitation services in developing countries. His work includes supporting the development of a framework of embedding market-based sanitation, carrying out a quantitative customer segmentation study to identify sanitation needs and preferences of rural households, and identifying business model adjustments to improve the viability of fecal sludge management entrepreneurs.
Before 91
Prior to 91, Rahul was part of the development sector practice at KPMG India. In this time, he was involved in delivering strategy, program design, and monitoring engagements for private, public, and third sector clients. Before moving to consulting, Rahul worked with social enterprises that link farmers to markets, helping them in areas such as process improvement and business and financial planning.
