All Senior Open Access College students are invited to the 2024 Formal, scheduled for the last week of Term 3 on Thursday, 26 September 2024. The event will be held at the Hilton Hotel, 233 Victoria Square, Adelaide SA 5000.
Event Details
Date: Week 10 - Thursday 26 September 2024
Time: 6.30PM arrival for a 7.00PM start
The formal ends at 10:30PM. All attendees will need to be picked up by 10:45PM at the latest.
Theme: Royal & Regal
Formal attire is preferred, but please wear what you are comfortable in. (Tiara/crowns optional)
Location: Hilton Hotel, 233 Victoria Square Adelaide, SA 5000
Tickets: $100 per ticket (additional booking fee of 0.50cents per ticket) You may invite one guest, and will need to pay for two tickets. The last day to purchase your tickets close on Monday 9 September, 4pm.
Arrival: Please make sure to sign in upon arrival and sign out before leaving. Students are not permitted to leave the allocated/supervised areas during the formal unless communicated to staff that they are leaving, have been signed out and are being collected by parent/caregiver.
Assigned Seating: Please note that the Hilton requires assigned seating to accommodate everyone's dietary needs. You and your additional guest will be seated together. While we ask that you remain at your assigned table when food is served, feel free to mingle, dance, take photos, and move around during the rest of the event.
Ticket price includes:
- Main course and dessert
- Side dishes
- Soft drinks
- Freshly brewed tea and coffee and after dinner offerings
- Live DJ and dancefloor
- Roaming photographer
Photography & Media Consent Forms: Events Photos, a South Australian-owned business, will be the official photographer for the evening. There will be a group photo at the start of the night. If you haven't provided media consent, kindly refrain from participating in the group photo. To be a part of the photo, please return a media consent form to Student.Services805@schools.sa.edu.au if you have not already provided one to 91快活林 previously.
On the Night: The event will run from 6.30 PM to 10.30 PM sharp. Our staff will be on duty until 10.45 PM to ensure that all students are collected safely. Alcohol, cigarettes and vapes are strictly banned from the event. Any attendees found with these substances, associated with or to be under the influence of any drug, including alcohol, will be asked to leave, parents/caregivers will be called and asked to come and collect the attendee.

A: Yes, you will need to purchase two tickets
Q: Is there assigned seating?
A: Yes, assigned seating is required only during meal service to accommodate dietary needs. For the rest of the event, you are free to move around, mingle, dance, and take photos.
Q: Will they be able to cater to my dietary requirement?
A: Yes, please ensure you specify any dietary requirements when you purchase your tickets.
